Noah DuBois' Writing Portfolio

Hi! My name is Noah DuBois, a third-year undergrad student at the University of Denver. I have a major in Biochemistry, and I minor in Writing Practices, Biological Sciences, and Physics. The current plan is to get a PhD in Biochemistry (or something chemistry related) once I'm done with DU, but we'll get there when we get there.

As a bit of history, I was born in Colorado in 2005 and I've lived here my whole life. I have a brother named Matthew and a sister named Kyra and I tolerate them dearly. I haven't ever been out of the country, but I have visited Florida, California, and Hawaii, and that last one is effectively its own country. I do love Colorado, though, as it is the best state in the Union. I also enjoy hiking in the mountains, and skiing is pretty okay too. I was accepted to the University of Denver in 2023.

Beyond outdoor activities, I'm a big fan of reading, writing, and video games. Particularly strategy and puzzle games, but there's a few first-person shooters I enjoy as well. I like writing well enough that I got a writing minor, and I mostly enjoy writing fictional stories and world building. Reading is nice, and while I haven't really opened a book in a good while, I have opened Ao3 on my phone every day for the better part of a couple years.

Outside of writing, I enjoy chemistry and science in general (biochemistry is my major, after all) and history. You'll see that bleed into some of these portfolio pieces a bit. I'm quite proud of all of the pieces here, and I hope you can find some enjoyment in reading them too.
